Located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City, Shih Cyuan Detention Basin was designed not just for stormwater detention, but also for the idea of combining the green space along the coast and form a place for citizens to spend quality time at. The multi-functional park also includes 16 stores and a parking garage. The Surrounding commercial zones benefits from the park as it attracts citizens and tourists while making the area one of the best places to live in.

Intelligent, Green, and Breathing
The detention basin is on Basement Floor 1. Starting from the second floor all the way to the top is the parking area. The roof top is implemented with solar panel, while the parking lot support electric vehicle charger to make the facility greener. Aside from the license plate recognition camera at the entrance and exit, all 210 spaces are covered with Parkxper Camera-based Parking Guidance System.

Camera-based Smart Sensor
With the 8 colors LED indicator, parking spaces for special usage can be easily identified; Pink for women with kids, blue for the disabled, yellow for VIPs or contracted parking. The camera-based smart sensors are installed at the middle of the lane. 1 device can handle up to 6 spaces to save energy to meet the purpose of a green building. The LPR function makes future extensions such as car finding APP or kiosk possible. Finding car will not be an issue anymore.

Dynamic Signage
The LED signage is network-based, which makes it easy to show icons or even commercials, evacuation messages. The number of available spaces on the signage is calculated by the camera-based smart sensor. With the combination of both, drivers can find vacant spaces in no time and reduce air pollution.
