In early 2018, Parkxper has completed another Smart Car Park in Taoyuan High Speed Rail Station. Taoyuan HSR, located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, is an important transport hub transferring to Taiwan International Airport. The station contains roughly a million of passengers transiting every year.

The operators were looking for a solution to maintain the flow of traffic, upgrade environment security and provide a passenger-friendly rail station. 900 parking spaces have been upgraded with Parkxper parking solution, and this refurbishment has greatly smoothed the flow of vehicles and travelers.

Around 250 camera-based indicators are placed above 900 parking spaces in the car park. License plate recognition technology supports the stabilization of parking space detection. Waterproof feature solves the challenge of outdoor installation. No matter the indicators are installed in indoor or outdoor area, the accuracy remains high and precise.

Taoyuan HSR claimed that this quick and effortless service eases the issue of saving time and stress from the passengers. Moreover, real-time images and analytical functions have greatly optimized car park management for its operators.

This innovation idea of building Parkxper parking guidance system makes Taoyuan HSR reward the reputation of a green rail station. The next move of Taoyuan HSR is to eliminate delays at barriers and reduce the use of ticket by establishing a ticketless enter/exit system.
